Interlibrary Loan

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

The interlibrary loan service is made available through the State Library of Iowa.  It greatly expands the resources of Iowa's individual libraries.

The Lime Springs Public Library encourages you to request materials that we do not own through interlibrary loan.  Requests may be made to the library staff in person or by phone at 563-566-2207.

There is a fee of $3.00 per item requested that cannot be delivered by van service. You will be notified when the item is received in the library either by phone or e-mail.  Please pick up item ordered within two days and return item to the library by the date specified.

Lending libraries may not be able to send materials that are new or in some cases non-circulating.  We will notify you if the material is not presently available.
